Water Stories is an interactive exhibition, including activities and workshops. We bring a river of air, sounds, images and questions... and take the shape of almost any container: art spaces, water caves, mountain homes and osteopathic conference rooms, dance floors, festivals or market places.
With over 12 medium and big size prints, several folders with en encyclopaedia of images exposing the geometric language of water. Accompanied by quotes and questions of mythos, science and language (across time and geography).
We find a reading corner, with books and articles both of our own
fabrication as well as from other Authors who make images of water, such
as Bernd-Helmut Kröplin (dried water images), Masaru Emoto (Ice) and
Veda Austin, whose freezing method is used in this exhibition.
In and around which the barman and the barwoman shake up queer cocktails of stories about water. Proto-scientific, mythologic, etymologic, practic, filosofic, fun.
We invite to open a dialog with something that comes forth from the waters around and within us.
We move our bodies, vibrate our MeMbranes and refine our palate, tasting different waters.
We listen with participatory imagination and play with our observation, like when we look at clouds.
We tell each other stories, moments, memories, discoveries.
We invite and guide a series of journeys to come to the senses and vortex our bodies along not just liquid states.
We propose morning dance and breathing classes for movement oriented audiences. An emulsion of contemporary dance, martial arts and improvisation infused into different states beyond liquid.
For weekends we propose a more widely ranged program for general audience, including elders, children and visually impaired or with other conditions.
These laboratories open through the body to dive into the voice and the sounds of water in different languages. We ondulate the communication between different individuals and groups, that gather around watery worlds of ideas and propositions.
