For over a decade now I am both fascinated as well as in love, or in awe with this element. It has taken me on a journey through many waters and other elements.
Now when I look at myself and the world, I wonder and marvel.
I approchead the history, ethymology, physical properties and sciences that are related to the element of water.
All of life relates to water, so it acts as binder to our cognitive collective memory: biology, the electromagnetic field and it's medium, cosmology, sound and wave forms, light, temperature, pressure, air, fire, earth and aether.
Water is nature's scribe – etching light, sound, and thought into liquid geometry.
I suggest to look at these images with playful astonishment, like when we look at clouds. Try to see and feel into it, like a strange and beautiful animal you encounter for the first time...
The First of a series on Water.
This video is part of my presentation/performance/conference on water that has been presented in Istanbul (ÇAK Art Space) and to the SCAB (Sutherland Cranial Teaching Foundation )for Osteopaths in Brussels. Upcoming presentations in Mexico.
To watch when you want to suspend the matrix around you. Put it on a big screen, with good sound and enjoy..
Çak Water on the Land
I was recently in Turkey, where a bunch of artists came from the city of Istanbul to the mountains of Iznik. Besides dancing, martial arts, chopping woods and sharing stories, I took the chance to give a face to its waters. The video below is accompanied with conversations and recordings that people wanted to share (no english available, but it doesn't matter for the water).
